A good forecast permitted a last minute escape from Shingleshire for a long weekend of wavesailing in south-west Wales. Today on arrival met up with Mike and sailed Broadhaven in a chunky half-mast swell with the occasional bigger set. Started on 5.3 but quickly changed down to 4.5. Cross-on very gusty port tack meant it was messy and hard work out there and I didn't make the most of the conditions on offer. Nevertheless, great to be sailing a decent sized groundswell again, and in a beautiful setting.
